![]() ![]() ![]() You just have to select the changes you want to make after seeing the diffs between the backup metadata and the org you are pointing to. As for Metadata, is pretty much the same using the standard metadata deployment process. A master record was removed and took all the related child records with it, it can get a bit tricky trying to restore that. Record data wise the process is fairly simple as long as you know what you are looking for but in cases where it involves multiple objects e.g. In terms of the difficulty of the restore process, that depends on the data type you need to restore. Having trial a few other popular options I found that it does most of what I want best, it is quite expensive but it does work and is nice to not have to worry about losing data when something goes wrong. So ultimately, Druva worked as intended and expected for restoring Sharepoint sites and content.Personally, I am using Gearset at the moment. Ultimately, we were still able to get the site restored by restoring specific pieces of content and different settings and this worked very well. I tested restoring a few other sites and they worked perfectly as expected. There appeared to be inherent issues with the site when it was originally created. We did run into some snags, but it ended up being related to the particular site we were trying to restore. I recently had to use Druva to restore a full site in Sharepoint Online. We would certainly stand by this product and recommend it to others. Logs are also helpful and easy to follow if we need to dig into error reasons more. Backups have been working consistently, and they are quite easy to review to ensure there aren't any issues happening. We have also seen constant improvements to the interface, so the product keeps getting better. When we've had questions, support has also been great to deal with. They don't just handle the deploy and onboarding and then move onto the next new customer. This shows a great level of dedication to customers. It has not disappointed at all! We have a recurring meeting set up with a Druva rep to ensure our needs are being met. We have been using Druva for a full year now. We were looking for a cloud backup solution for our Office 365 environment, and this does everything that we could possibly want it to do. The onboarding team has been fantastic as well. The onboarding went very smoothly, and the features and capabilities are exactly what was advertised. We have just wrapped up our onboarding of the product, but we've been using it since April. Truly a partner for the organization! Read reviews UPDATE : Cohesity continues to work phenomenally! And their product team continues to innovate and bring new functionality to the table. UPDATE : Cohesity continues to shine in our organization! Frankly, we all still have jobs and a functional hospital because we have had so much success with Cohesity. We still have a ways to go as we prioritize what comes up first, but it's been a very successful journey so far. With Cohesity, we've been able to recover machines and file shares, verify they're clean, and bring the applications back online. Our old backup solution would have not only been unsuccessful but would have forced us to rebuild a majority of our systems. We found a few problems with how we had configured some of our backup jobs (not a Cohesity issue, but something we did) but that's been a good learning opportunity for us as well. We have been recovering systems and file shares from known good backups without any real issues. Cohesity has literally saved us hundreds of hours of work and I'd say it prevented us from having to actually pay the ransom note. UPDATE 1-14-2021: Our organization suffered a critical ransomware attack, effectively crippling our entire infrastructure (some 600+ servers and 2500 PCs). We've had a few bugs in releases and other issues and their support staff has always been constant with their communications and provided solutions in a timely manner. On top of everything else this product offers, their support network has been incredible. After the initial setup of the application, creating new backup jobs takes minutes (compared to an hour+ in our previous system). Cohesity has been a true time saver for our organization. ![]()
